Central objective: Define healthy practices to mitigate the spread of germs and decrease the likelihood of SIDS in infants and toddlers within early childhood education and child care centers. Supporting elements: Identify safe practices with infants addressing SIDS, Abusive Head Trauma (AHT), and Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS). Implemented in classrooms and care settings, these guidelines empower caregivers and educators to create safer, healthier environments for young children.
