Registration Practices and Procedures:
Registration will be accepted as long as space is available. Space is no longer available once a class/session has started. However, students are encouraged to sign up early.
There are five ways to register:
839 Quince Orchard Blvd. STE E
Gaithersburg, MD 20878
If there are zero available seats in your course of interest, please call (833)283-2241 (2TEACH1) to discuss waitlisting or to arrange for an on-site training at their center.
Policies and procedures regarding course cancellation, refunds, and attendee notification:
Each training requires a minimum number of enrollees to run. The decision to hold or cancel a class is made in most cases three business days prior to the start of the class. ChildCareEd, however, reserves the right to cancel a class at any time due to unexpected circumstances.
No refunds are given once a registration payment has been made. The exceptions to this policy are as follows:
Students will receive confirmation of their registration via the email address associated with their account. For in-class/Zoom trainings, the email will include (a) the date and time of the class; and (b) the location and its address. Student reminders will be automatically emailed on the seventh, third, and day before the training takes place. For online courses, students receive a one-time confirmation email informing them of their registration.
All of the online courses at ChildCareEd contain speech that narrates the text on content slides; in addition, clients taking online courses have the option to have the text translated to any of the languages available to them through the Google Translate Chrome Extension (video clips will remain in English).
Students who are registered for classes held at ChildCareEd headquarters in Gaithersburg, MD, have a ramp leading up to the classroom, as well as handicapped bathrooms. Any special accommodations, given at least 48-hour prior notice, will be considered and met to the best of the staff’s ability. Free parking is available for students on property.
