ChildCareEd is an Approved Training Organization through the MIRegistry. Approved trainings can be used toward meeting initial training requirements and toward on-going annual training requirements for program directors, site supervisors, licensees, lead caregivers, caregivers, assistant caregivers and volunteers in child care centers, family child care homes and group child care homes.
Preservice requirements for Child Care Center employees and Family Child Care owners and staff.
Lead Caregiver Training to meet the 9 CEUs or 90 hours from MiRegistry requirement for lead caregivers.
Infant and Toddler Lead Caregiver Training to meet the 4.5 CEUs or 45 hours of MiRegistry-approved infant and toddler development training requirement.
Director Training to meet the 3.0 CEUs in child care administration requirement for program directors.
MiRegistiry Registry
- ChildCareEd approved courses can be found on the MiRegistry. Users may purchase approved courses through the ChildCareEd website. For MiRegistry credit, please add your Registry ID number to your ChildCareEd account. Attendance data will be uploaded weekly to the MiRegistry. Please allow a minimum of 5 business days for your completed course to appear on your MiRegistry account.

- Plus: Unlimited online training plus online CDA training courses
- Instructor-Led: Unlimited online training, plus all CDA online training courses, and one Virtual Class each month led by a trained Educational Specialist
