ChildCareEd courses can be converted to Ohio Approved credit and are accepted by the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services for annual ongoing professional development requirements for staff members, employees, administrators, providers, emergency/substitute caregivers, assistants, and family child care providers working in child care centers and family child care homes.

Center Administrator training requirements:

Family Child Care Providers training requirements:

Annual training requirements for all Staff:

• six clock hours of training annually

Ohio Professional Registry (OPR):

• Professionals who complete ChildCareEd training can upload the certificate of completion to their Ohio Professional Registry (OPR) profile for OA credit.

• Plus: Unlimited online training plus online CDA training courses
• Instructor-Led: Unlimited online training, plus all CDA online training courses, and one Virtual Class each month led by a trained Educational Specialist
