ChildCareEd has been awarded Standing Approval Status by Child Care Facilities Licensure Division of the Mississippi State Department of Health. Courses may be used to fulfill in-service training requirements for those who work in day nurseries, day care centers, child care centers and preschool programs. This includes child care staff, directors, director designees, caregivers and caregiver assistants.

Caregivers in both child care centers and child care homes training requirments:

Annual training requirements:

• All child care staff, directors, director designees, and caregivers shall be required to complete 15 contact hours of staff development, accrued during the licensure year, annually.

• Instructor-Led: Unlimited online training, plus all CDA online training courses, and one Virtual Class each month led by a trained Educational Specialist
