What ChildCareEd’s New York Approval Means

ChildCareEd is an Aspire Registry–approved Training Organization (#156466), which means our courses are officially recognized by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) to meet state-required training for child day care centers, family day care homes, group family day care homes, small day care centers, and school-age child care programs. By verifying attendance in the Aspire Registry, all ChildCareEd courses qualify for OCFS training credit, ensuring your hours count toward your mandatory pre-service, annual, and biennial training requirements.

As an IACET Accredited Provider, ChildCareEd also ensures that every course you take earns high-quality, nationally recognized CEUs.

ChildCareEd’s EIP Eligibility (Educational Incentive Program)

ChildCareEd is an EIP Training Organization, which means New York child care providers may be eligible to receive EIP or MAT scholarships to help pay for ChildCareEd courses. EIP is sponsored by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) and helps providers cover the cost of training needed to meet regulatory requirements.

  • EIP scholarships are available for approved professional development, including distance learning.
  • Scholarships apply to training sessions, distance learning, credit-bearing coursework, and MAT training, as long as they meet EIP criteria.

This is a major benefit for providers—many are unaware that they do not need to pay out of pocket for most approved trainings.
