All of H&H Child Care Training Center’s courses are accepted by the California Early Care and Education Workforce Registry. Courses may be used towards obtaining and renewing your Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential. Possessing a CDA Credential qualifies you for the Child Development Associate Teacher Permit and may also be used toward the requirements for the other Child Development Permits. For California Registry training credit, please add your California Registry ID number to your account.
The following are required preservice trainings in the state of California:
- 16 hours of Pediatric Health & Safety training obtained from an EMSA approved vendor. To include:
- Preventive Health Practices 8 hours
- Pediatric CPR certification 4 hours
- Pediatric First Aid certification 4 hours
- Healthy Schools Act (DPR approved training) 2 hours
- Associate Teacher qualification: A current and valid Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
- Family Child Care Home Provider qualification: A current and valid Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
- Director qualification: 12 core semester units in early childhood education/development (for the age group of children you will be serving) and 3 semester units in Administration or Staff Relations.
H&H Child Care Training Center offers the CDA credential as well as the CDA renewal in all CDA areas.
