CDA Área temática 5: Gestión eficaz de las operaciones del programa

Este curso de formación de 10 horas está diseñado para dotar a los proveedores de cuidado infantil con los conocimientos y habilidades esenciales para gestionar eficazmente las operaciones del programa. Los participantes adquirirán una comprensión integral de los roles administrativos, los recursos comunitarios, la planificación del programa, la gestión del personal y los procedimientos operativos. Al completar este curso, los proveedores de cuidado infantil estarán mejor preparados para crear programas de alta calidad, eficientes y que cumplan con la normativa, que satisfagan las necesidades de los niños y las familias. Los temas tratados incluyen: comprender las responsabilidades administrativas, utilizar los recursos comunitarios, implementar evaluaciones efectivas, desarrollar un plan de negocios, gestionar al personal de manera efectiva, mantener registros precisos y garantizar la seguridad y el cumplimiento.

B. Objectives / Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this training, the learner will be able to:

  3. Demonstrate understanding of the roles and responsibilities of an administrator in a child care program.
  4. Identify and use community resources to support learning.

  6. Demostrar comprensión de la importancia de establecer un plan de negocios.
  7. Identifique los recursos que ayudarán con el mantenimiento de registros.
  8. Explain when to report child abuse
  9. Describe ways administrators can observe and assess staff.
  10. Give examples of time management strategies administrators can use to balance record keeping and supervising.
  11. Define what it means for administrators to mentor staff in early education.
  12. Explain the benefits of administrators supporting staff in goal setting.

  14. Demonstrate understanding of the steps and procedures for reporting accidents
  15. Identificar estrategias efectivas para entrevistar a posibles nuevos miembros del personal.
  16. Identify necessary information and format for a business plan

  18. Explique la importancia de utilizar contratos y procedimientos de capacitación y selección de empleados.
  19. Demonstrates understanding of community organizations that support early childhood programs.
  20. Identify budget line items and basic budget development strategies
  21. Demostrar comprensión de la información que debe comunicarse con regularidad al personal, a los padres y a la comunidad.
Criteria to earn CEUs:
Certificates are awarded when the following criteria have been met by the learner:
  1. Class has been paid in full
  2. All material has been reviewed
  3. All review questions and final test have been completed with a passing score of 80% or higher.
Learning Assessment Method:
Learners will be assessed through questions after every section is completed. Learners will not be allowed to proceed to the next section of the training until all questions have been answered correctly. Learners will be presented with a final test composed of true/false and multiple choice questions. Upon successful completion of the training, learners will receive their certificate by email.
Learning Methodology:
Online material will be presented in the form of slides, accompanied with speech. Videos will be used to demonstrate ideas and concepts. Charts and tables will be used for illustration.
Logistics/Required Technology:
A stable internet connection is required for the completion of this course. Users are highly encouraged to take their online course on Google Chrome on either a laptop or desktop computer. Speakers and/or headphones are also required to hear speech.
