ChildCareEd is proud to be an Approved Training Sponsoring Agency with the Arizona Early Childhood Workforce Registry and an IACET Accredited Provider, offering high-quality training that supports compliance and professional growth.

We provide training in online self-paced and virtual instructor-led formats so educators, directors, and staff can complete requirements on a flexible schedule. Many of our online courses are offered in multiple languages (excluding media), including Spanish, Chinese, Russian, Urdu, Farsi, and others.

What Arizona Approved Training Does ChildCareEd Provide?

ChildCareEd offers Arizona-approved courses that can be used for initial and annual training for professionals working in:

  • Child care centers
  • Child care group homes

This includes teacher-caregivers, assistant teacher-caregivers, teacher-caregiver-aides, facility directors, facility director designees, and certificate holders.

Registry Information

Arizona Early Childhood Workforce Registry
ChildCareEd-approved courses can be found on the Arizona Early Childhood Workforce Registry, and course completions may be uploaded for registry credit. 

For Registry credit: 

  • add your Registry ID to your ChildCareEd account. 
  • Attendance/completion data is uploaded weekly
  • please allow at least 5 business days for completed training to appear in your Registry profile.

Child Care Group Homes

Initial Provider Training Requirement

  • At least 60 hours of training in child development, early childhood education, nutrition, psychology, or child care business management

Annual Training Requirements

  • Child care center staff: 18 hours of annual training
  • Child care group home staff: 12 hours of annual training

ChildCareEd courses can be used toward these annual training hour requirements.
