H&H Child Care Training Center is providing Transportation and Field Trip Safety in the Early Childhood Environment, a 1-hour training course specific to Nevada providers. This course is being offered to Nevada providers free of charge.

This course has been approved by the Nevada Registry, Approval Code: 88427. *This training can be taken to meet the initial training requirement for Transportation Safety.*

It is important that childcare professionals are aware of how to keep children safe in different types of vehicles and while on field trips. Safety procedures include supervision, passenger restraints, vehicle operation, and planning for field trips. This course details the procedures recommended by the state of Nevada for transporting children.

By the end of this training, the learner will be able to:

  • Identify important safety procedures when transporting children
  • Define strategies for transportation and field trip safety.
