Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDDs) Fact Sheet

         
IDD is a term used to describe a group of conditions that affect a person's intellectual and developmental abilities, including conditions such as #Down_syndrome, cerebral palsy, and autism spectrum disorder. IDD is usually diagnosed before a person reaches the age of 18 and can significantly impact their daily living skills and ability to learn and communicate. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, about 6.5 million people in the United States have #IDD, with early intervention and support being crucial for improving outcomes and quality of life.
