CDA Área temática 4: Construir relaciones productivas con las familias

Este curso de formación de 10 horas está diseñado para dotar a los proveedores de cuidado infantil de las habilidades esenciales para construir relaciones positivas y productivas con las familias. Los participantes obtendrán una comprensión profunda de la dinámica familiar, de estrategias de comunicación efectivas y de la importancia de la colaboración. Al final del curso, los participantes podrán demostrar su capacidad para considerar a los padres como socios iguales, involucrar a las familias en el entorno de cuidado infantil y comunicarse eficazmente con familias de diversos orígenes. Esta formación mejorará la calidad de la atención brindada y fomentará un entorno de apoyo y colaboración tanto para los niños como para las familias.

B. Objectives / Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this training, the learner will be able to:
  1. Identificar estrategias para una comunicación efectiva con las familias.
  2. Demostrar comprensión sobre cómo abordar a los padres como socios iguales en el aprendizaje.
  3. Demostrar comprensión del uso de los recursos comunitarios para realizar derivaciones.
  4. Enumere los recursos y el proceso de derivación para niños en edad preescolar con una discapacidad sospechada/diagnosticada.
  5. Dé ejemplos de estrategias que los docentes pueden utilizar para comunicarse con los padres sobre comportamientos desafiantes.
  6. Identificar recursos para derivación y servicios especializados.
  7. Identificar estrategias para escuchar sin emitir juicios sobre lo nuevo o lo desconocido
  8. Explique la importancia de la comunicación bidireccional.
  9. Demostrar comprensión sobre cómo desarrollar estrategias para involucrar a los padres en el entorno de cuidado infantil.
  10. Demostrar comprensión de la dinámica y de la importancia de la relación entre un padre y un profesional (0,5 h).
  11. Reconocer la importancia y los componentes de un cuestionario eficaz para padres.
  12. Demonstrate an understanding of the Strengthening Families Protective Factors
  13. Describe how to use the Strengthening Families Self-Assessment for program improvement.
  14. Demostrar comprensión sobre cómo desarrollar relaciones positivas con las familias de cuidado infantil
  15. Dé ejemplos de herramientas que registran y comunican información crítica a otros miembros del personal y a las familias.
  16. Reconocer la importancia de mantener la confidencialidad y la privacidad en la comunicación con las familias.

Criteria to earn CEUs:
Certificates are awarded when the following criteria have been met by the learner:
  1. Class has been paid in full
  2. All material has been reviewed
  3. All review questions and final test have been completed with a passing score of 80% or higher.
Learning Assessment Method:
Learners will be assessed through questions after every section is completed. Learners will not be allowed to proceed to the next section of the training until all questions have been answered correctly. Learners will be presented with a final test composed of true/false and multiple choice questions. Upon successful completion of the training, learners will receive their certificate by email.
Learning Methodology:
Online material will be presented in the form of slides, accompanied with speech. Videos will be used to demonstrate ideas and concepts. Charts and tables will be used for illustration.
Logistics/Required Technology:
A stable internet connection is required for the completion of this course. Users are highly encouraged to take their online course on Google Chrome on either a laptop or desktop computer. Speakers and/or headphones are also required to hear speech.
