ChildCareEd Coupons in California - CA

Our online courses may be used to meet California’s ongoing professional development requirements for Child Care Centers, Family Child Care Homes, and professionals pursuing a Child Development Permit through the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

ChildCareEd is also an approved training organization for the Workforce Pathways LA (WPLA) Stipend Program, meeting the 21-Hour Professional Development Pathway requirements.

Important Note:
California requires certain pre-service trainings (CDSS orientation, EMSA Pediatric CPR/First Aid, and EMSA Preventive Health Practices) that cannot be completed through ChildCareEd. We support all additional pre-service knowledge areas but do not replace EMSA or CDSS-required training.

Annual Training for California Child Care Providers

California requires all licensed child care providers to complete 15 hours of annual training.

ChildCareEd offers approved, Registry-aligned courses in all California Early Childhood Educator Competency areas.

All completed coursework is uploaded weekly to the California Early Care & Education Workforce Registry (allow 5+ business days for posting).

CDA Credential & Renewal Courses

Earn or renew your CDA Credential completely online.

ChildCareEd provides the full 120 hours of CDA training required to obtain a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential.
The CDA Credential:

• Qualifies individuals for the Child Development Associate Teacher Permit
• Can be used as nine semester units toward California’s 24-unit permit requirements
