Administrar un centro de cuidado infantil requiere una variedad de habilidades tanto en la educación #early-childhood como en las prácticas de gestión empresarial. Cuando nosotros, como administradores, estamos capacitados adecuadamente en todas las áreas de gestión y planificación empresarial, estamos mejor preparados para ejecutar un mejor programa tanto para el #staff como para los niños. Hemos desarrollado este curso para dotar a los nuevos directores y administradores con las habilidades necesarias para planificar, presupuestar, seleccionar personal y supervisar un programa de cuidado infantil.

*Este curso puede usarse para cumplir con el requisito de 10 horas de formación en gestión de cuidado infantil para directores en el estado de Virginia.*

 

B. Objectives / Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this training, the learner will be able to:
  1. Identify different types of risk management common in child care.
  2. Identificar herramientas de evaluación del personal y cronogramas de evaluación que ayudarán en la supervisión del personal y en el monitoreo del desempeño.
  3. Identify a variety of marketing platforms to promote childcare programs.
  4. Identificar y demostrar comprensión de los requisitos de contenido para la orientación del personal.
  5. Demonstrate understanding of the roles and responsibilities of an administrator in a child care program.
  6. Explique el valor de la autoevaluación y la reflexión.
  7. Reconocer la importancia de mantener la confidencialidad y la privacidad en la comunicación con el personal.
  8. Demonstrate an understanding of child care policies, licensing regulations, and legal and advocacy issues.
  9. Identifique los recursos que ayudarán con el mantenimiento de registros.

  20. Identify budget line items and basic budget development strategies
Criteria to earn CEUs:
Certificates are awarded when the following criteria have been met by the learner:
  1. Class has been paid in full
  2. All material has been reviewed
  3. All review questions and final test have been completed with a passing score of 80% or higher.
Learning Assessment Method:
Learners will be assessed through questions after every section is completed. Learners will not be allowed to proceed to the next section of the training until all questions have been answered correctly. Learners will be presented with a final test composed of true/false and multiple choice questions. Upon successful completion of the training, learners will receive their certificate by email.
Learning Methodology:
Online material will be presented in the form of slides, accompanied with speech. Videos will be used to demonstrate ideas and concepts. Charts and tables will be used for illustration.
Logistics/Required Technology:
A stable internet connection is required for the completion of this course. Users are highly encouraged to take their online course on Google Chrome on either a laptop or desktop computer. Speakers and/or headphones are also required to hear speech.
