Área temática CDA 3: Apoyo al desarrollo social y emocional de los niños

Este curso de formación de 10 horas está diseñado para dotar a los proveedores de cuidado infantil con los conocimientos y habilidades necesarios para apoyar de manera efectiva el desarrollo social y emocional de los niños pequeños. Los participantes profundizarán en las etapas del desarrollo emocional, la importancia de las habilidades socioemocionales para la preparación para el jardín de infancia y las estrategias para fomentar la autorregulación, el cuidado predecible y un entorno culturalmente receptivo. El curso también abordará técnicas de orientación efectivas, interacciones positivas y el papel de la autoestima en la educación infantil. Al completar esta formación, los proveedores de cuidado infantil estarán mejor preparados para crear entornos acogedores y de apoyo que promuevan el bienestar integral de los niños.

B. Objectives / Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this training, the learner will be able to:
  1. Identify the four supportive social learning components.
  2. Define classroom community.
  3. Explique las consecuencias para los niños que experimentan interacciones negativas y tonos de voz en el aula.
  4. Give examples of positive guidance in the early childhood classroom.
  5. Demonstrate understanding of the importance of predictable and consistent care.
  6. Describe the impact of culture on infant and toddler development
  7. Identificar formas de examinar el comportamiento infantil para prepararse para la orientación.
  8. Describe la importancia del desarrollo de habilidades socioemocionales en los niños que ingresan al jardín de infancia.
  9. Ilustre maneras de aplicar los elementos esenciales del uso del aprendizaje social de apoyo para abordar problemas de conducta.
  10. Describe las etapas del desarrollo emocional en los niños pequeños.
  11. Define self-esteem and identify how it relates to art.
  12. Demostrar comprensión de cómo la orientación positiva promueve un desarrollo social y emocional saludable.
  13. Demostrar comprensión de alternativas positivas a los tiempos fuera y de ciertas técnicas disciplinarias basadas en las mejores prácticas.
  14. Describir nuevos métodos para aumentar el clima emocional positivo dentro de un programa de cuidado infantil.
  15. Identificar estrategias comunes de interacción para ayudar a promover un ambiente de aula positivo para niños pequeños.
  16. Definir el desarrollo socioemocional en niños pequeños
  17. Identificar estrategias para integrar la cultura y la diversidad en un programa para bebés y niños pequeños
  18. Demostrar una comprensión de cómo fomentar las habilidades de autorregulación en los niños.
Criteria to earn CEUs:
Certificates are awarded when the following criteria have been met by the learner:
  1. Class has been paid in full
  2. All material has been reviewed
  3. All review questions and final test have been completed with a passing score of 80% or higher.
Learning Assessment Method:
Learners will be assessed through questions after every section is completed. Learners will not be allowed to proceed to the next section of the training until all questions have been answered correctly. Learners will be presented with a final test composed of true/false and multiple choice questions. Upon successful completion of the training, learners will receive their certificate by email.
Learning Methodology:
Online material will be presented in the form of slides, accompanied with speech. Videos will be used to demonstrate ideas and concepts. Charts and tables will be used for illustration.
Logistics/Required Technology:
A stable internet connection is required for the completion of this course. Users are highly encouraged to take their online course on Google Chrome on either a laptop or desktop computer. Speakers and/or headphones are also required to hear speech.
