The Texas Workforce Commission is offering another round of the Child Care Relief Fund (CCRF) for child care providers.
Who is eligible to receive the 2022 Child Care Relief Fund (CCRF)?
To be eligible for the 2022 CCRF, providers must be:
- open to provide child care services at the time of application or be temporarily closed due to public health, financial hardship, or other COVID-19–related reasons at the time of application (with plans to reopen within 30 days);
- actively licensed or registered in the State of Texas with Child Care Regulation (CCR) by February 28, 2022;
- in good standing with CCR; and
- committed to remaining open at least through May 2023.
Child care programs can apply for funding in 2022 even if they received funds in 2021.
The 2022 CCRF may be used to offer wage supplements and one-time bonuses to attract and retain high-quality staff. What better way to attract high-quality staff than by providing them with high-quality professional development.
