High-quality early childhood education requires more than just a set of activities—it demands thoughtful integration of developmental standards, evidence-based practices, and cultural responsiveness. In this course, child care providers will explore how to design and adapt curriculum for different age groups, implement emergent learning, and use scaffolding to support every child’s unique growth. Participants will discover strategies to promote play, encourage problem-solving, integrate diversity and anti-bias materials, and create inclusive learning environments for children of all abilities. By the end, providers will be equipped with practical tools to inspire curiosity, respect cultural identities, and foster meaningful learning experiences that prepare children for lifelong success.

*Illinois Providers: This training has been approved to align to ECE Gateways Credential, ECE CPD2: Synthesizes the relationship between standards, evidence-based practices, culturally competent teaching strategies and curricular planning.*
