ChildCareEd is approved through the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE), Office of Child Care Health and Safety. All ChildCareEd courses are accepted toward initial and ongoing training requirements for those who work in licensed child day centers and licensed family day homes, including caregivers, program leaders, program directors, administrators, assistants, aides, and substitute providers.
ChildCareEd is also an IACET Accredited Provider, and eligible courses award CEUs that are widely recognized for professional development.
