Delaware Child Care Training You Can TrustChildCareEd supports early childhood professionals across Delaware with high-quality training that can be used as community-based training toward annual requirements. ChildCareEd trainings are accepted by the Delaware Office of Child Care Licensing (OCCL) as community-based training, and community-based trainers do not need to secure separate approval from OCCL.
ChildCareEd is an IACET accredited organization and provides CEUs for all online self-paced training courses. We offer both online self-paced and Virtual Instructor-led formats so you can complete training on your schedule while meeting professional development goals. Many online courses are also available in multiple languages (excluding media), including Spanish, Chinese, Russian, Urdu, Farsi, and more.
Delaware licensing requirements vary by role and setting, so always confirm with your licensing specialist. Common expectations include:

Staff must complete 18 clock hours of training annually, including at least two hours of health or safety training.
