What ChildCareEd’s Oklahoma Approval (CECPD #34110) Means

ChildCareEd is an Approved Training Organization with the Center for Early Childhood Professional Development (CECPD #34110).

This approval means:

  • ChildCareEd courses may be used for both formal and informal clock hours.
  • Our trainings are accepted statewide by Oklahoma Human Services (OKDHS) – Child Care Services.
  • All courses count toward the Oklahoma Professional Development Ladder (OPDL) for levels 1–11.
  • Courses are accepted for child care centers, part-day programs, school-age programs, summer day camps, family child care homes, large family homes, and residential child care facilities.

Because ChildCareEd is CECPD-approved, your completed hours meet Oklahoma’s requirements for:

  • Pre-service training
  • Annual professional development
  • OPDL renewal
  • Director Credential maintenance
    Master Teacher qualifications
  • Family Child Care Home (FCCH) caregiver requirements

State Registry Credit – CECPD Oklahoma Professional Development Registry (OPDR)

ChildCareEd is fully integrated with the Oklahoma Professional Development Registry (OPDR).

To ensure automatic Registry credit:

  1. Add your OPDR Registry ID to your ChildCareEd account
  2. Complete any Oklahoma-approved ChildCareEd course
  3. ChildCareEd uploads your attendance weekly
  4. Your hours appear in OPDR within 5 business days

This guarantees that all training you complete through ChildCareEd is properly documented for employment, licensing, and OPDL progression.

IACET Accreditation – Accepted Nationwide

ChildCareEd is an IACET Accredited Provider, which ensures:

  • All eligible courses award CEUs recognized for professional development and national portability
  • Oklahoma CECPD and OKDHS accept IACET CEUs
  • Training meets the ANSI/IACET 1-2018 Standard, the highest standard in adult continuing education
  • Certificates are trusted by employers, directors, licensing specialists, and national credentialing bodies

With IACET accreditation, educators gain high-quality, widely recognized training that meets both state and national professional development requirements.
