Recent events have created new challenges for today’s teachers and families. Many families have to deal with new stresses because of health crises around the world. Early childhood educators need to face these challenges and help families succeed because they are the foundation of a child's learning environment. This course teaches educators how to define family engagement and how to keep families involved even during a global health crisis. The goal is to help both the child and the family become more resilient and be a presence in the classroom, even if they cannot physically be there.
