24-hour Texas Pre-Service #childcare_training is a training program that is required for all new childcare providers in Texas. The training covers a variety of topics, including child development, health and safety, discipline, and positive guidance.

What are the requirements for 24-hour Texas #Pre-Service childcare training?

The requirements for 24-hour Texas Pre-Service childcare training are as follows:

  • The training must be approved by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC).
  • The training must cover the topics listed in Rule §746.1305 of the Texas Administrative Code.
  • The training must be completed within 90 days of the start of employment.

Annual training: All child care providers in Texas must also complete 24 hours of annual training. This training must be approved by HHSC and must be relevant to the age of the children for whom the provider cares.
