ChildCareEd would like to offer you a free training course! We recognize that child care providers' time and money are valuable and often limited. This is why we are providing a free training earning 2 CEUs. Click here to create your account with us. 

All of ChildCareEd's courses are accepted by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) in accordance with their continuing education requirement for all childcare providers. ChildCareEd has on staff several Registered Trainers with the Texas Early Childhood Professional Development System (TECPDS) (Trainer IDs# 89912, #114259, #89900, #89901). 

24-Hour Texas Teacher Annual ONLINE training.

This course is designed for all caregivers working in a licensed child care facility in Texas. This course fulfills the annual 24 hour training requirement including:

  • Required training topics:
    • Professionalism and Ethics
    • Health, #Safety and Nutrition
    • Family and Community Relationships
    • Diversity and Dual Language Learners
    • Supporting Skill Development
    • Child #Growth-and-Development
    • Responsive Interactions and Guidance
    • Learning Environment, Planning Framework, Curriculum and Standards
  • Requirements necessary to provide care for children of all ages, including those younger than 24 months of age

Course format:

  • Online training: 24 hours of online self-paced training. 

Upon registration, you may immediately access the online portion of your training.

30 hour Texas Director Annual ONLINE training.

This course is designed for directors working in a licensed child care facility or a Primary Caregiver of a licensed child care home in Texas. This course fulfills the annual 30 hour training requirement including:

  • Required training topics:
    • Child Growth and Development 
    • Responsive Interactions and Guidance 
    • Learning Environments, Planning Framework, Curriculum, and Standards 
    • Supporting Skill Development
    • Diversity and Dual Language Learners 
    • Family and Community Relationships 
    • Health, Safety, and Nutrition 
    • Professionalism and Ethics
    • Establishing and Maintaining an Effective Organization
    • Business and Operations Management 
    • Human Resource Leadership and Development 
  • Requirements necessary to provide care for children of all ages, including those younger than 24 months of age

Course format:

  • Online training: 30 hours of online self-paced training.
