Course description:
This course is overed in a blended version of both online and inclass. The course consists of 36 hours curriculum online, and 54 hours in class on Saturdays and Sundays. The 90 hour School Age methods and materials training meets the Maryland State Department of Education MSDE requirement for School Age teacher in a child care setting. The class teaches curriculum methods for working with children ages 5 years to 12 years old and growth and development for ages birth to 12 years. The class is a 45-hour school age course and a 45 hour growth and development course approved by MSDE, as an online and in class training.
