
CDA Credential Training (Required for Center Personnel)
Puerto Rico established the CDA (Child Development Associate) Credential as a licensing requirement for center directors, teachers, and assistant teachers beginning in 2016. This requirement was implemented as part of statewide efforts to improve early childhood workforce quality, and is widely recognized by ACUDEN and the Department of the Family.
