Due to the rising prevalence of obesity in children, and, its many adverse health effects, it is being recognized as a serious public health concern. The effects of childhood obesity can be psychological, emotional, physical, and long-term life effects. Schools play a large role in preventing childhood obesity by providing a safe and supportive environment with policies and practices that support healthy behaviors.

Complete your annual requirements in Child Development and Lifelong Wellness (Child Nutrition, Obesity, and Physical Activity) with H&H Child Care Training Center’s approved courses.

Childcare providers in Nevada are required to complete 2 hours of training in Child Nutrition/ Wellness annually.

The following trainings can be taken to meet the Child Nutrition/Wellness training requirement.

H&H is a sponsor organization approved by the Nevada Registry.
