image in article Georigia CDAGeorgia Teachers and Lead Caregivers are required to obtain a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential. This Credential qualifies individuals to serve as a Teacher or Lead Caregivers. The CDA Credential training includes 120 hours of coursework including 10 hours in each of the eight CDA subject areas. 

H&H Child Care Training (ChildCareEd) is proud to offer the CDA Introduction course free to all providers! This course will walk you through the necessary steps in obtaining a credential and will explain each required component. 

Learn what it takes to obtain a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential. For many in the early childhood education field, the CDA Credential is what sets them apart from others. Learn how the CDA can advance your career and the steps in the CDA process including training, Verification Visit, Professional Portfolio, and Exam.

Once you have completed our introduction course, register for the CDA coursework in the setting of your choice, Infant-Toddler, Preschool, or Family Child Care. H&H Child Care Training Center (ChildCareEd) offers both the CDA Credential coursework and the CDA Renewals.
