Instructor-Led Training, CPR, and Medication Administration Courses with ChildCareEd

At ChildCareEd, we know that child care professionals need training that fits real schedules, real classrooms, and real licensing requirements. Along with our large catalog of online self-paced courses, we offer live instructor-led options—including Zoom classes and onsite training—and two of the most commonly required health and safety courses: First Aid & CPR and Medication Administration Training (MAT).

Instructor-Led Training Options

ChildCareEd provides live training in two ways, so you and your staff can meet synchronous or in-person requirements while still keeping things convenient.

  1. Virtual Instructor-Led (Zoom) Classes

Prefer learning live but need to stay remote? Our Zoom instructor-led trainings let you attend in real time with a qualified trainer. In these sessions, you can ask questions, participate in discussions, and complete any state-required live hours.

Why providers love Zoom trainings:

  • Live interaction with an instructor
  • Opportunities for Q&A and group learning
  • Great for meeting synchronous training rules

Frequently asked questions

  • Yes, attendance and participation are mandatory for all in-class training sessions to meet the required clock hours. Any missed classes or hours will need to be made up before a certificate can be issued.
  • Yes—every instructor-led training comes with downloadable course handouts instead of a mailed coursebook. When you register, you’ll get access to the handouts in your ChildCareEd account and/or through the class link, so you can download, save, or print them for note-taking and future reference. So while you won’t receive a physical coursebook in the mail, you will have clear supporting materials for every live class.
  • For the Medication Administration Training, ChildCareEd doesn't issue duplicate certificates. The trainer needs to be contacted in order to mail out the certificate. ChildCareEd is not the one to issue this certificate, as only a registered nurse can. Arrangements must be made directly with the instructors and additional fees may apply.
