Frequently asked questions
-
Yes, attendance and participation are mandatory for all in-class training sessions to meet the required clock hours. Any missed classes or hours will need to be made up before a certificate can be issued.
-
Yes—every instructor-led training comes with downloadable course handouts instead of a mailed coursebook. When you register, you’ll get access to the handouts in your ChildCareEd account and/or through the class link, so you can download, save, or print them for note-taking and future reference. So while you won’t receive a physical coursebook in the mail, you will have clear supporting materials for every live class.
-
For the Medication Administration Training, ChildCareEd doesn't issue duplicate certificates. The trainer needs to be contacted in order to mail out the certificate. ChildCareEd is not the one to issue this certificate, as only a registered nurse can. Arrangements must be made directly with the instructors and additional fees may apply.
