Training for Licensed & Registered Child-Care Homes

Texas home-based providers can complete required training through ChildCareEd, including:

Annual Training

Each caregiver and site director must obtain at least 15 clock hours of training each year relevant to the age of the children for whom the person provides care. Licensed home primary caregivers should confirm their specific hour requirement under Chapter 747 with their licensing representative, as center and home requirements differ.
