Texas providers, complete your required trainings before the new school year begins!
H&H Child Care Training Center has created training courses specifically for providers in Texas to fulfill their requirements for both preservice and annual training. These courses are approved by The Texas Early Childhood Professional Development System (TECPDS).
24-Hour Texas Pre-Service Training. This online-only course provides 24 clock hours of pre-service training as required by the Texas Child Care Regulation. This course includes the requirements necessary to provide care for children of all ages, including those younger than 24 months. Transportation Safety. This course includes the requirements necessary to transport children whose chronological or developmental age is younger than nine years old. This course can be found on our website and also through the TECPDS: Training #21725.
24-Hour Texas Teacher Annual Blended. This blended training includes 18 hours of self-paced online learning courses and 6 hours of virtual classroom learning as required by the Texas Child Care Regulation. This training includes the requirements necessary to provide care for children of all ages, including those younger than 24 months of age. TECPDS: Training# 21818
30-Hour Texas Director Annual Blended. This course is designed for directors working in a licensed child care facility or a Primary Caregiver of a licensed child care home in Texas. This blended training includes 24 hours of self-paced online learning courses and 6 hours of virtual classroom learning as required by the Texas Child Care Regulation.
