image in article CDA training for Connecticut providersChildCareEd courses are accepted by the Connecticut Office of Early Childhood towards professional development requirements. Courses offered by ChildCareEd provide International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

Obtaining your CDA will qualify you as a Teacher in Connecticut. ChildCareEd is proud to offer the CDA Introduction course free to all providers! This course will walk you through the necessary steps in obtaining a credential and will explain each required component.

Learn what it takes to obtain a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential. For many in the early childhood education field, the CDA Credential is what sets them apart from others. Learn how the CDA can advance your career and the steps in the CDA process including training, Verification Visit, Professional Portfolio, and Exam.

Once you have completed our introduction course, register for the CDA coursework in the setting of your choice, Infant-Toddler, Preschool, or Family Child Care. ChildCareEd offers both the CDA Credential coursework and the CDA Renewals.
