This training consists of the following two 45 hour courses: 45 Hour Child Growth and Development and 45 Hour Infant and Toddlers Methods and Materials.
The 45 Hour Child Growth and Development course covers the child development half of 90 hours coursework. You will gain a broad overview of the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of the child from birth to age 13. This certification course satisfies half of the MSDE requirement of 90 hours for child care teachers and directors.
The 45 Hour Infant and Toddler Methods and Materials will give you the skills needed to work with infants and toddlers at home or in a child care center. Topics include growth and development, curriculum planning, goal setting, selection of age-appropriate materials, and methods for infants and toddlers birth to age 3. This certification course satisfies the MSDE requirement of 45 hours of infant-toddler training for child care teachers, directors, and family providers working with infants and toddlers.
The price reflects the cost for both courses of $550 + $25 registration fee.
There is a minimum enrollment of 5 students in order for this course to proceed.

This course is a combination of the 45 Hour Growth & Development Class dates: Sunday's March 17, 24,31st and April 7, 14 Time: 9am to 3:00pm, plus 15 hours of independent study, observations, and assignments at home. As well as the 45 Hour Infant and Toddler Class dates Saturdays March 16th, 23rd, 30th, April 6th, and 13th, 2019. Time: 9 am to 3:00 pm, plus 15 hours of independent study, observations, and assignments at home. To get your certificate you must attend both Saturdays and Sunday's for 5 weeks.
Please bring a bag lunch or money to buy snacks and drinks from the vending machine. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate are included for free at all H&H center trainings. Location: 839 Quince Orchard Blvd Suite D Cost: $550 plus $25 registration. Class cost is NON Refundable Requirements: Minimum of 8 students enrolled to proceed. If the minimum is not met, students will be contacted about other options/refund.
