This class is a blended format with 36 hours strictly online and 9 hours completed via Zoom Virtual class learning. This is an approved format by MSDE. 22.5 CD/15 CUR/3 HSN/1.5 SN/2 PRO/1 COM
Gain the skills necessary to work in school-age child care programs. Topics include curriculum planning, age-appropriate materials, and methods for working with children ages six-13. This certification course satisfies the curriculum half of the MSDE requirement of 90 hours of childcare training for teachers, directors, and coordinators working with school-age children. You must successfully complete all course requirements to receive a certificate. Aligns with MD Staff Credential (proposed) levels 2-4. MSDE Approval number PSO-30299
The class is non-refundable. Can not be combined with other promotions or discounts. There is a minimum enrollment of 5 students in order for this course to proceed.
Please complete your online portion by the 30th of the following month. Unfortunately, if you do not complete your online portion by this deadline the class will be deleted and you will no longer be able to finish without re-registering and paying $250.
