Course Description:

This class is a blended format with 36 hours strictly online and 9 hours completed via Zoom Virtual class learning. This is an approved format by MSDE. 22.5 CD/15 CUR/3 HSN/1.5 SN/2 PRO/1 COM

Gain the skills necessary to work in school-age child care programs. Topics include curriculum planning, age-appropriate materials, and methods for working with children ages six-13. This certification course satisfies the curriculum half of the MSDE requirement of 90 hours of childcare training for teachers, directors, and coordinators working with school-age children. You must successfully complete all course requirements to receive a certificate. Aligns with MD Staff Credential (proposed) levels 2-4. MSDE Approval number PSO-30299

The class is non-refundable. Can not be combined with other promotions or discounts. There is a minimum enrollment of 5 students in order for this course to proceed.
