ChildCareEd is approved to provide Maryland CDA Bridge Bundle training for early childhood educators who have already completed Maryland’s 90-hour certification and are ready to take the next step toward earning their Child Development Associate® (CDA) Credential™.
The Maryland CDA Bridge Bundle provides the additional 30 hours of training needed to help complete the 120-hour CDA education requirement. This option is ideal for Maryland child care providers who have already completed the 45-hour Growth and Development training and the 45-hour Curriculum training, but still need the remaining CDA training hours.
ChildCareEd offers CDA Bridge Bundle options for Family Child Care, Infant/Toddler, and Preschool settings. The training is self-paced and online, allowing educators to complete the required hours on a schedule that works for them. Select bundle options also include CDA Professional Portfolio support and review by ChildCareEd’s certified CDA Professional Development Specialists.
Completing the CDA Bridge Bundle helps fulfill the training portion of the CDA process; however, candidates must also meet all other CDA Council requirements, including work experience, Professional Portfolio completion, CDA application, CDA exam, and verification requirements.
