If your child care program is part of Workforce Solutions Capital Area Child Care Services, your staff may be able to access free, instructor-led training designed to strengthen classroom practices, support professional growth, and improve the quality of care for children.
Workforce Solutions Capital Area sponsors professional development trainings throughout the year to support child care providers in delivering high-quality care. Through this opportunity, eligible child care programs can participate in training sessions led by approved training providers, including ChildCareEd.
These trainings are designed to help teachers, directors, and early childhood staff build skills in important areas such as supervision, communication, inclusion, observation, child development, classroom transitions, and positive classroom practices.

Training certificates are issued through Workforce Solutions Capital Area’s process, which may include completion of attendance requirements and an evaluation.
Participants should carefully follow all training instructions, including completing any required evaluation or QR code process at the end of the session, in order to receive credit.
