Course description:
This training consists of the following two 45 hour courses: 45 Hour Child Growth and Development and 45 Hour Preschool Methods and Materials.
The 45 Hour Child Growth and Development course covers the child development half of 90 hours coursework. You will gain a broad overview of the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of the child from birth to age 13. This certification course satisfies half of the MSDE requirement of 90 hours for child care teachers and directors.
The 45 Hour Preschool Methods and Materials covers the curriculum component for preschool children ages 2-5. You will examine curriculum materials and teaching methods that stimulate children from birth to age 6. You will also learn how to build communication skills to use with parents, co-workers and the public. This certification course satisfies the remaining half of the MSDE requirement of 90 hours for child care teachers and directors working with preschoolers.
The price reflects the cost for both courses of $550 + $25 registration fee.

This course is a combination of the 45 Hour Growth & Development Class dates: Sunday's March 17, 24,31st and April 7, 14 Time: 9am to 3:00pm, plus 15 hours of independent study, observations, and assignments at home. As well as the 45 Hour Pre-School Class dates Saturdays March 16th, 23rd, 30th, April 6th, and 13th, 2019. Time: 9 am to 3:00 pm, plus 15 hours of independent study, observations, and assignments at home. To get your certificate you must attend both Saturdays and Sunday's for 5 weeks.
Please bring a bag lunch or money to buy snacks and drinks from the vending machine. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate are included for free at all H&H center trainings. Location: 839 Quince Orchard Blvd Suite D Cost: $550 plus $25 registration. Class cost is NON Refundable Requirements: Minimum of 8 students enrolled to proceed. If the minimum is not met, students will be contacted about other options/refund.
