Not familiar with The Maryland Child Care Credential program? This is a quality incentive program that recognizes childcare providers for exceeding the requirements of State licensing regulations.

Participation in the program can lead to various benefits including higher compensation, career advancement opportunities, and increased credibility and professionalism within the field. The program also provides a framework for ongoing learning and development, allowing childcare providers to continually enhance their knowledge and skills.

To participate in the #Maryland_Child_Care_Credential program, individuals must meet the eligibility requirements and submit an application to the Maryland State Department of Education.

While this is a voluntary program, many childcare facilities require their staff to participate. Please check with your Director to see if your participation in the program is voluntary.
