The holidays seem to be the time of year where teachers and programs alike cater their lessons about cultures around the world.  And this makes sense as the term cultural sensitivity, also sometimes referred to as cross-cultural sensitivity or simply cultural awareness, is the knowledge, awareness, and acceptance of other cultures and others' cultural identities.  One of our roles as early childhood educators is to create safe environments for all the children in are care and to make both the children and their families feel welcome.

We here at H&H Child Care Training offer Cultures in the Classroom to help teachers with facilitating acceptance of diversity into their classrooms and programs.

H & H Child Care Training Courses grant .2 CEUs or more as well as awarding state approved clock hours of 2 or more for all childcare centers, and family childcare providers in many states.  Check with your licensing agency to check for any additional requirements and to see if we are approved in your home state.
