Provider Requirement Levels

Delaware Early Childhood Credential A certificate linked to the "Delaware First" professional development system that signifies a professional's specific level of education.

  • Steps to achieve: Submit your professional portfolio, including training hours and education transcripts, to the Department of Education.

Reimbursable Training Information through the State

  • Delaware First / DIEEC: Offers scholarships for the CDA Credential as well as Associate and Bachelor degrees.
  • Quality Improvement Awards: Financial awards for programs that maintain high quality ratings, often used to offset training costs.
  • T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood Delaware A scholarship program to support professional development.

    • Description: Provides full scholarship support for Associate and Bachelor degrees, including tuition, books, and travel stipends.
    • How to apply: Apply through the Delaware Association for the Education of Young Children (DAEYC).

Training we do not offer
