I think both the training and trainer were great and I liked how interactive it was - there was a variety of ways to participate while learning (giving a thumbs up, asking questions verbally and in the chat box, typing comments in the chat box, and small group discussions).

This was a very informative training. Ive worked in DC in a childcare setting for almost 20 years and recently switched to MD, which is why I have to take this training. I felt it was more in-depth about what to do, how to respond, and how to include children with disabilities.

Is there an option for the 45-hour classes to be in class through zoom? I have taken a few classes online and this was much more interactive and engaging. Although I am very happy to use Child Care Ed and I am grateful we can easily access so many classes that are reasonably priced! Thank you so much!

The instructor was fabulous! I thoroughly enjoyed the course. I thought the test was challenging, and there were a couple questions where I felt it was testing reading ability and attention to detail more than knowledge learned. I also thought if a final answer could be choices "a" and "c," the answer choices should be labeled that way. Also, test directions explaining what the "X" meant would have been helpful. Thank you!

The course moved a little fast at points. I didn't always have the time I needed to finish taking notes before the page and topic changed. However, the instructor was very kind, patient, and willing to stop or answer questions. The speed through just added a little stress and left some gaps because of not hearing or reading the information in time. Overall, the course was engaging the the instructor was great. She was always receptive to our needs, if we spoke up.

As a mother of two autistic sons and a neurodiverse person myself I would like to point out that those in the autism community take issue with person-first language. As someone with a neuro divergence, I was already interesting in progressing and hoping to help improve the overall care of others with special needs. This webinar helped keep me engaged, remember what it was like when I was a kid and how I was treated and inspired me with the videos of children with disabilities being treated equally inclusive to the other children at the institution they attended. It kept me positive about the progress made and I really am motivated to help maintain that energy.

We need more training and information on food allergies and intolerances. As a food service manager, food safety is my top priority. Students and teachers should learn about safe food practices and teachers should model that behavior during mealtimes in classrooms.

I work for a Montessori school and am working on being certified in all areas for my position but as I have gained more knowledge I realize I would like to get my degree in early childhood education, teaching kindergarten or up to 2nd grade.
