Description
This teacher’s guide helps educators introduce children ages 3–5 to the idea that people experience vision differently and that everyone can explore and play in different ways. Children investigate textures, connect familiar sounds with objects or events, describe objects with accessible language, and learn how tools and adaptations can support access to information. Use the preparation and adaptation guidance to plan group or individual activities with textured cards, familiar toys and sounds, high-contrast pictures, communication cards, and visual instructions. Observation prompts support participation planning—not diagnosis.
