Understanding illnesses, how they spread, and how to prevent them from spreading is a critical element to providing a safe and healthy child care environment. Caregivers who are able to identify potential hazards regarding the spread of germs and illness are better capable of mitigating the potential for multiple illnesses. Online material will be presented in the form of slides,
accompanied with speech. Videos will be used to demonstrate ideas and concepts. Charts and tables
will be used for illustration.
