Active supervision is integral to creating environments that are safe to the needs of all children in an early childcare program. It also helps to protect children from hazards or harm that may arise during daily schedules, routines, and transportation. Effective supervision also allows educators to engage in meaningful interactions with children. This training reviews the COMAR regulations and outlines active supervision for childcare educators.
