ChildCareEd is an Approved Sponsoring Organization with the Oregon Center for Career Development in Childhood Care and Education and is approved to provide Set One, Set Two and Set Three knowledge standards training courses. ChildCareEd is accredited by the International Association for Education and Training (IACET) and offers CEUs for all online courses. Courses may be used towards obtaining Oregon Registry Steps 1-7 as well as annual training requirements for those working in child care centers and family child care homes including directors, head teachers, teachers, teacher aids, caregivers, and providers.
Preservice training requirements for all providers:
Director Training Requirements
- 600 hours (30 in each Core Knowledge category), 390 hours must be Set Two/Three training hours

Infant/Toddler Teacher Aid Training Requirements:
- 50 hours of training specific to infant and toddler care
Annual training requirements:

The director, head teacher, and all teachers shall participate yearly in at least 15 clock hours of training or education related to child care, of which at least eight clock hours shall be in child development or early childhood education.
Family child care provider Training Requirements:
- 10 hours of training every two years

- Plus: Unlimited online training plus online CDA training courses
- Instructor-Led: Unlimited online training, plus all CDA online training courses, and one Virtual Class each month led by a trained Educational Specialist
