Fun Memorial Day Activities for Children
Matching Stars: Purchase or make stars with different patterns. Children can either match stars or make patterns using ABAB, AABB, or create their own!
Freeze Dancing: Bop to upbeat music using red, white, and blue streamers or ribbons.
Memorial Day Sensory Bin: Fill a sensory bin halfway up with rice colored blue, red, or white, or combine them. Add in child-safe star cookie cutters and add in figures for children to play with.
Pictures and letters: Have children draw pictures and write letters thanking our military! There are many organizations that accept these letters. Find out which organizations will in your area.
