From Rags to Riches: Junk Art

"One man's junk is another man's treasure."

Do you have any of the following materials lying around your house?

     ☐ Plastic bottles

     ☐ Foil

     ☐ Magazines and/or newspapers

     ☐ Paper bags

     ☐ Egg cartons

If you've checked off any of these, then yes, you can create art! Children can create unique pieces of art, even cute seasonal decorations, by using what they have around the house.

In the online course "Upcycled Art," you will learn how to guide children to think outside the box by using different recyclable materials. Open-ended and mentally stimulating, junk art is suitable for all ages, from infant to school age (and even beyond!). No two creations are exactly alike: each child thinks differently. What they create will be great conversation starters to talk about how junk materials impact the environment, and how they can help by recycling and reusing.

The class is only 2 hours long and can be completed at your own pace in the comfort of your own home. The price is $14 ($12 for VIP members). The listing is as follows: Upcycled Art
