What are the benefits of becoming a Lead Teacher? The Department of Early Education and Care explains the importance and benefits of a Lead Teacher.  “When a Teacher accomplishes a specific amount of additional experience and education, they become eligible to qualify for a Lead Teacher position. While all Teachers are qualified to mentor and/or supervise Support Staff, Lead Teachers may also mentor and/or supervise Teacher(s).
