Provider Requirement Levels.

Child Development Permit Issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing, this permit is required for teachers in state-funded (Title 5) programs. Levels range from Assistant to Program Director.

  • Steps to achieve: Complete the required college units for your desired level and submit an application packet to the Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

Reimbursable Training Information through the State.

Child Development Training Consortium (CDTC) A program designed to reduce the out-of-pocket costs for providers pursuing their education.

  • Description: Offers stipends that reimburse you for Permit application fees and tuition for required college units.
  • How to apply: Visit the CDTC website and submit a stipend application form during the open application period.
