Description
Children ages 2–5 color object cards, then sort or glue each one onto the matching home on the sort mat. Use familiar examples such as milk and cheese in the fridge, books on a bookshelf, and fish in an aquarium to practise matching objects with where they belong and talking about other possible places. An adult can help with cutting, while toddlers can point, color, and place the cards instead. Reach for this printable during a home-and-community theme, a small-group sorting activity, or a hands-on fine-motor session.
